In previous "Spotlight on Ignite 2014" posts, we’ve talked about several of the marquee tracks and sessions taking place at Ignite 2014, including Building a Next-Generation Cybersecurity Strategy, Modern Data Centers and Mobile and End-User Security. We also clued you in to the first of several exciting keynote speakers, Box CEO Aaron Levie, and looked at how to get one-on-one time with our onsite experts while you’re in Las Vegas.
Ignite 2014 attendees will also have access to plenty of training opportunities, and we’re pleased to confirm the initial lineup of hands-on sessions we’ll be offering at the conference:
- Firewall Deployment Best Practices: Learn tips, recommendations and best practices for deploying Palo Alto Networks firewalls from our professional services experts, including the use of reporting tools for application-based security policies and integration strategies with SIEMs.
- Advanced API Training: Learn the best uses of the various APIs included in PAN-OS, as well as how to leverage APIs with existing tools and how to build custom API-based tools.
- Next-Generation Firewall Ultimate Test Drive for Managers: This class is specifically designed for managers and executives seeking a hands-on view of the Palo Alto Networks platform, and will offer a series of real-world policy examples.
- Panorama: Hear best practices on configuring and using Panorama to manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, from creating key firewall components such as Device Groups to migrating from Panorama virtual appliances to M-100 hardware appliances.
Each class session runs four hours. Check out the Ignite sessions page for specific details and attendance prerequisites.
Keep watching this space for more content, speaker and logistics updates over the next few weeks. And a reminder: you have one more week to register for Ignite 2014 at a discounted rate, so take advantage!
