Summer is winding down, which for most parents of school-age children, means the start of a new school year. For some families, the start of a new school year involves a trip to the local store to purchase fresh school supplies. For others, buying essential school supplies is not within budget, putting their children at a disadvantage against their peers.
That’s why Family Giving Tree launched the Back-to-School Drive in 1995 to help close the educational gap for underserved K-12 students. Palo Alto Networks employees recently participated in the 21st annual Back-to-School Drive by donating more than a hundred backpacks and school supplies, giving monetary donations, and spending the morning preparing backpacks for children.
