Over the next few weeks, you may come across our new We’ve Got Next anthem film on broadcast TV, social media or the Palo Alto Networks website. The term “We’ve Got Next” responds to a critical need in cybersecurity in this moment: being ready for the next challenge, the next threat and the next opportunity. Individuals who’ve got next are those who can consistently anticipate the future and are ready to take it on with vision, resilience and, when necessary, disruption.
It’s in this context that we are thrilled to partner with a set of such individuals to produce this campaign — a new league of dreamers, makers and disruptors in entertainment, music, sports and racing. Lena Waithe, Gustavo Dudamel, Sabrina Ionescu, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Robin Frijns all come from different disciplines, but they understand what it takes to tell the next story, build the next form of musical expression, anticipate the next move in a game, and race for the next world-changing cause.
We’ve Got Next is also a sentiment and an attitude we live and breathe every day at Palo Alto Networks. We believe We’ve Got Next because we are at the beginning of an exciting journey to rebuild cybersecurity for the coming decades. We’ve Got Next because we have worked very hard to be able to see around the corners, anticipate the next set of threats and deliver the next set of solutions. We’ve Got Next because we have innovated, disrupted and reimagined the way organizations protect themselves.
Over the last two and a half years, I have personally experienced the incredible pace of innovation, industry leadership and customer traction at Palo Alto Networks. I joined at a time when the company was in the early stages of forming what we now call our “speedboats.” These speedboats represented the cybersecurity focus areas where we believed we had a head start in innovation. We needed to operate in fast iterations to bring that innovation to our customers, solving major cybersecurity challenges along the way. I am thrilled to see the progress we have made. When I look back at the last year alone, here is what stands out:
But, We’ve Got Next is more than that. Innovation and disruption are driven by bold, visionary people. And Palo Alto Networks as a company is brimming with so many of them. I have been lucky to interact with them in every function, every discipline, at every level. And they all work hard to push the world forward. Pushing the world forward is not for the faint-hearted. So, I thank all the Palo Alto Networks employees who have a relentless focus on delivering “the next” innovation in cybersecurity and protecting our digital way of life. Because they’ve got next, we are able to launch a campaign that confidently tells the world that We’ve Got Next.
