Coursera announced the availability of Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud training on Google Qwiklabs, which is hosted by Coursera. Now students can learn how Prisma Cloud provides organizations with unmatched visibility and defense-in-depth for workloads and applications running on the Google Cloud Platform.
This is important, as managing enterprise cybersecurity in such complex and fast-moving environments is challenging. Furthermore, quality training and instruction around these specific topics is difficult to find. Additionally, we’re proud to have the first partner-driven course to be listed within the Google Cloud curriculum and are collectively grateful for the team effort to make this available.
We’re also grateful for our Google Cloud partnership and are excited about the joint commitment around educational opportunities for the user community. To host this lab, we’re utilizing Google Qwiklabs, which provides the best support for our content development and training requirements. Google Qwiklabs enabled us to gamify existing content and make it more engaging for students, thus offering accreditation and certificates to warrior cybersecurity students who completed their personal training quest.
What to Expect When Taking the Course on Google Qwiklabs
Within the lab, students will learn concepts around detection, prevention, and remediation of malicious attacks in a Kubernetes environment through use of Prisma Cloud Compute within Google Cloud.
There are a total of five labs which cover the security measures for the cloud application attack surface. This includes security around the runtime aspects of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), the “shift security left” elements of your code repositories (Jenkins, Github), host-based security and the overarching automation playbooks required for security at scale. Each lab has comprehensive instructions and visuals to guide your path.
