Palo Alto Networks recognises fourteen local partners for excellence in leadership, innovation, and customer centricity, in what has arguably been the region’s most challenging year in cybersecurity
SYDNEY — 10 November 2022 — Palo Alto Networks, the global cyber security leader, tonight announced the winners of its 2022 Australian & New Zealand Partner Awards, recognising industry leadership and innovation amongst the company’s valued partners across the channel ecosystem. Hosted at The Jackson in Sydney’s Jones Bay Wharf, the event was a celebration of partners who have played a key role in delivering superior and holistic cybersecurity solutions, as well as outstanding customer service across ANZ.
The Palo Alto Networks Partner Awards recognise talent, diversity, innovation, and superior commercial performance within the channel partner ecosystem, acknowledging the essential role channel partners play in Palo Alto Networks’ provision of cybersecurity solutions to customers. The Awards also recognise partners whose business models have adapted to customers' needs, delivering customer service excellence to large, medium, and small organisations throughout ANZ.

ANZ Nextwave Partner of the Year: Telstra
Telstra has delivered this years’ highest revenue, partnering on two of ANZ’s largest deals, and investing in its partnership with Palo Alto Networks for more joint success in FY23. Telstra has proven its commitment to providing the best cybersecurity products and services to customers, by raising the bar on their technical capability and bringing new joint solutions to market.
ANZ Distribution Partner of the Year: Westcon NZ
Westcon NZ grew 53% last financial year and has led the charge with the onboarding of new registered partners in New Zealand, whilst driving partner promotions and initiatives such as Turbo Rewards.
ANZ Global Systems Integrator of the Year: NTT
NTT has embraced the Palo Alto Networks Portfolio with a number of deals in Prisma and Cortex, one of the healthiest SASE pipelines, and continued innovation in the cybersecurity space. NTT is the winner of the GSI award this year due to the company’s winning culture, loyalty to its partnership with Palo Alto Networks and putting the needs of its customers first.
ANZ Service Provider of the Year: Vodafone NZ
Vodafone New Zealand entered a strategic partnership with Palo Alto Networks and achieved incredible success, building huge momentum and over $8M+ of joint pipeline in FY22 after a few short months. Vodafone NZ embarked on an enablement journey with PANW that saw over 30+ staff accredited and certified across NGFW, Cortex and SASE technologies and launched Vodafone Secure Access powered by Palo Alto Networks to the NZ market in FY22.
ANZ Managed Security Service Provider of the Year: Superloop:
Superloop entered a strategic partnership with Palo Alto Networks to deliver a fully managed SASE solution with their digital-first fibre network. Though it was a large undertaking to onboard these capabilities, the company now has a multi-million dollar pipeline for FY23.
ANZ Cortex Partner of the Year: Datacom NZ
Datacom has been at the forefront of protecting organisations from cyber threat in New Zealand. FY22 saw Datacom make significant strides with Cortex, being part of one of the fastest deployments of Cortex XSOAR.
ANZ Prisma Cloud Partner of the Year: Deloitte
Deloitte has been at the forefront in helping organisations in their digital transformation and migration to the cloud. Deloitte has developed an innovative cloud security solution that combines Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Cloud with their industry-proven Threat Based Risk Analysis methodology and platform. In addition, Deloitte has invested in their teams across Australia, resulting in the highest number of Prisma Cloud certified sales, presales and engineering resources nationally.
ANZ SASE Partner of the Year: Cube Networks
With COVID-19 and the mass migration to working from home, Cube Networks has taken the lead in helping its customers in their SASE transformation, using Palo Alto Networks’ solutions.
Australian Technical Excellence Award: Enablis
Enablis has played an instrumental role in ensuring successful technical deployments in 2022. Working in partnership with Palo Alto Networks, the dedication of the project and technical teams to ensure the best outcome for the customer has ensured a slew of successful technical rollouts this year.
ANZ Cloud Service Provider of the Year: AWS
Amazon Web Services (AWS) in partnership with Palo Alto Networks, provides the broadest set of integrated security capabilities, whether an organisation is just beginning its cloud journey, or modernizing applications using cloud-native technologies.
ANZ Marketing Partner of the Year: Google Cloud
A first of its kind, Google Cloud has partnered with Palo Alto Networks to build a joint Go-To-Market strategy, to drive joint demand generation. The initiative was supported by a digital marketing campaign, a whitepaper series, and CXO roundtables.
Rising Star (Commercial Partner): Enablis
This year Palo Alto Networks initiated a commercial strategy to grow the company’s customer base across ANZ, a strategy which was brought to life by Enablis, resulting in 200% year-on-year growth and a 93% deal registration rate.
Growth Partner of the Year: Data#3
Data#3 has been awarded growth partner of the year, in recognition of the company doubling its year-on-year Palo Alto Networks growth for the last 5 years.
Innovation Partner of the Year: CyberCX
CyberCX has been a long standing partner of Palo Alto Networks, consistently demonstrating an ability to innovate and disrupt around Palo Alto Networks’ next-generation technologies. CyberCX continues to demonstrate strong growth, as a leading cyber security services provider.
